Numbers

The day I have stopped questioning on our friendship and start questioning on what beliefs and personalities you live on, it was the day I knew I won't be relying on you.

I'd rather have a few brilliant friends rather than a gazillion friends that I can't cope with.

That's why all my brilliant friends are still stucked overseas and I am here. it's gonna take some time, no?

Short breakaway

I've been spending some time here in Melbourne (total of 10 days if I am not wrong; I suck in calculating days anyway). Melbourne is a pit stop for me before reaching both Auckland and Kuala Lumpur. The second time I am here, the feeling is so different from four months ago.

The first time I reached this place was cold, filled with tears and my refusal to explore this place. It was pathetic or I was pathetic. That doesn't matter much anymore. I've done so much in these 10 days and I barely take off day (I've had only one day of lazy Melbourne- so according to Pinky Tham ). I am happier this time and daring. I no longer carry the same thoughts four months ago. It's a whole new different perspectives; from how I feel and experiences although some activities have been done before.

I am going to share the my best moments in Melbourne. It helps a lot that you hang out with Pinky's friends. Or I am more open to making friends now since I can count with my 10 fingers with the amount of my friends in Auckland.

My love development for Auckland is still there. As much as I tell everyone I meet that Auckland has nothing much, I also highlighted that maybe I am nothing much. wtf.

Anyway, here goes to many best moments in Melbourne.

1) My excellent brilliant tour guide. One thing she has to improve on is that stop feeding me food, desserts, and beers, bubble tea or coffee.

2) Meet me at Mike's in Brunswick Street. The person who works there is so nice that he gave Pinky and me a badge each after I bought something from him. They handmade a lot of cute creative stuffs too.

3) A toilet switch in one of the bars in Brunswick. Pretty funny, I thought.

4) I didn't go to the supposedly most happening club in Melbourne but I went to Bass Lounge with Matthew and Pinky, drank 2 shots (my 2nd and 3rd shot in my 21 years of life). By the way, our dressings are way too impressive. Just look at Matt's feets.

5) This is Brighton Beach. It does not have very nice sands and packed with people. What's so unique about that place is that it has very colourful cabins. Really nice cabins for rent. This little heart breaker broke my heart when his father told him to return the chips to me. :(

6) Visited the Melbourne Museum. It has great stuffs. This coin says Keep this dear Mary for my sake till the departure of thy life. Really old and romantic coin.

7) I found this in one of the toy shops in Docklands.

8) Docklands Harbour town. am doing some touristy thing.

9) These people are great because they keep me company all the time.

10) This s Great Ocean Road for you! The road/journey really lives up to its name. It's really GREAT! I slept almost all the way in this road trip. It was beautiful to catch sun sets at 12 apostles. Saw a couple with champagne as well how romantic.

11) South Melbourne Beach. This is hilarious. The wind was so strong that day and the seagulls are trying so hard to fly the opposite direction but failed tremendously. Can't stop laughing because it is so funny.

12) South Melbourne Beach. People come here for fishing as well.

13) Self timer. South Melb Beach has a lot of jelly fishes (Dead and alive!). I did not go into the water.

14) Camberwell Market. The market where you can find the most random stuffs.

15) Some decorations and etc. I bought two shirts for $13. dirt cheap!

16) Most of the stuffs there are probably suitable for females. I bought nice buttons for $4.

17) Still in Camberwell Market. My favourite place in Melbourne because it is soooo huge.

18) Reminds me of how Jane and I used to play with our barbie dolls.

19) He sang somewhere over the rainbow and it sounded kinda good.

20) This is in Chapel Street. Roger saw and I thought it was kinda old, rare and special. ;)

Know what?

I can't wait to
  1. to be home and earn some warmth
  2. complete the list of restaurants to visit
  3. be able to hug, touch and talk to you
  4. to have mamak with gob and friends
  5. to experience my life... lively!
My 8 days here has been marvelous. Probably one of the many best weeks I've had studying overseas.

Going Places

I guess I am one of those lucky ones. I have traveled to 5 different countries in a year and is on my second visit to Melbourne after merely 4 months passed from my last visit.

It's different; comparing to Auckland and Melbourne in July.

The feeling is different. Liking the hot weather. Liking some new friends and Pinky Tham.

As much as I think Auckland has nothing to offer, it's still a good place for me. I've had made good friends there and the New Zealanders are not that hard to understand.

I can't wait for the next stop! :D

Time and tide wait for no men

: in 4 days time, I am going to wrap this up.
: in 11 days time, I bid this bye I say hi to the next one.
: in 21 days time, I bid next bye I get welcome home. plus countless hugs I can foresee.

Right now, I hope and tightly clasped my hands together to pray that I am on the right path.

No matter where you are.

You are always this part of family.

Now, spot me.
